Conservatives for Clean Energy (CCE) was honored to serve as a Participating Organization for the first-ever National Clean Energy Week, held during the week of September 26th.  With events held in Washington, DC and throughout the country, clean energy leaders came together to celebrate our past success and plan the path forward for future success.

As part of National Clean Energy Week, CRES (Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions) honored our own U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) with their Clean Energy Champion award at an event in Washington, DC.  CRES cited Senator Tillis’ work in leading the fight against clean energy tariffs in the U.S. Senate and his work to ensure that the U.S. military can detect vulnerabilities to the electrical grid and protect assets from potential threats.

CCE has arranged for three Members of our Congressional delegation to tour clean energy projects in their respective districts during their October district work week.  We are fortunate to have several Clean Energy Champions in our federal and state legislative delegations and we look forward to sharing the emerging clean energy economy with policymakers at all levels of government!
